Have had no troubles connecting, but it usually seems to happen when I'm asleep .

Yep, the forums have been acting a bit strange recently. Why does it say 'Posts: 0' next to my nick if I had 1400 something before, hm? Let me guess... the infamous gremlins again?

Strange happenings indeed. If you want your postcount back, it can be done, but it's really strange that it vanished in the first place. What's also strange is the 01.01.1970 non-entry at 'News Comments' seen on the forums overview, plus my Firefox shut down as soon as I tried to view RPGDot (not just the forums). I switched to IE which worked, but it's strange nevertheless.

Ok it is 1am here US Central time.
I get this error when ever I try to connect to a forum thread on the front page that is Empty of post (new or old), but I can connect to a thread on the front page that has a current post count.

This mostly FYI, in case it helps troubleshoot.

Ok....... I tried fixing what was left to fix. There was something serious wrong with the forums database.
I don't know exactly what is missing at the moment, but whatever it is, it can't be restored, unless its a postcount, which has been recounted for Moriendor. Its probably less than before due to pruning of some of the forums though.

Thanks a lot for the clean-up and also for the post-count restoration .

BTW, I'm not sure if this is a known bug or not but are you aware that the forums will sometimes return a "You can not make a new post so soon after your last one" message even if it is your first post of the day, i.e. even if you haven't made a single post before?

Nope. My guess is the forum software just doesn't like what you want to say at that moment

So the 'BB' in 'phpBB' stands for 'Big Brother' then?

Seems like Big Brother has many brothers, I've seen them everywhere recently :]. Or is it just that the one Big Brother is everywhere?
