Reason why you should have a back-up game saved

Almost at the end of the game, I go into a little chamber up on the planks on level six- There is a cursed ring there below some heavy rocks- no great treasure, y'know.
But I got in there, kinda squeezed in, actually. No matter what I would do, jump, walk, levitate, trying for like 15 minutes- no way. Stuck in this stupid little room. Quest over.

Only option- reload a save game from only a short while back, before I killed the Ylside in the bunker. No biggie. At least I know where they are, and maybe this time I can get that cute little troll out of that box?

There's a "cheat" that lets you walk through walls that might get you unstuck. You just do it like you're casting a spell. It's one of the "secret" runes that you can see here:

http://arx.rpgdot.com/index.php?hsaction=10062&game=arx&l1=CheatGuide&infoID=134

Stairs rune x 3 = Walk through walls

I assume doing it again will cancel it but I'm not sure. I've never used it myself and don't have the game installed to test it. Some of the cheats are not reversible but it doesn't say that about this one.
