Game Recommendation?

Hi, I need you people to recommend me some good cRPG or some game in general (There doesn't seem to be a board for general rpg gaming) where there is a good storyline + there are character classes such as: Paladin, Barbarian, Mage, Thief, etc... and each of these classes has their own special abilities.

It doesn't have to be an AAA title (As in, a game created by an AAA company such as blizzard or microsoft or whoever), just has to be good enough and with these requirements

So, does anyone know?

It's just that I wanna play a Paladin with Holy skills

P.S: It can also be a Mod, doesn't have to be a standalone game.

Well, if you have NWN, then try the Twilight and Midnight mods. They are designed specifically for Paladins.
As for other games, I don't know what you've played, but any DnD style game would fit the bill. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, NWN and it's expansions, Gothic 1 and 2 (Gothic 2 has Paladins I believe), the Quest for Glory series, TOEE, Diablo 2, Sacred, Divine Divinity, Wizardry 8... hrm... I've probably forgotten some.

Hmm, Interesting NWN modules
Sadly, don't have NWN right now, so will have to wait until I do...

Do you know any good mods for other D&D based games that have to do with Paladins...?

Old School

I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD FINAL FANTASY LIKE GAME FOR PC.
NOT LIKE MORROWIND OR BAULDERS GATE OR DIABLO OR WIZARDS AND WARRIORS.
I WANT A GAME WHERE U RUN AROUND WITH YOUR PARTY AND THEN THE SCREEN CHANGES WHEN U GET IN A FIGHT JUST LIKE OLD FINAL FANTASY GAMES. PREFERABLY OUTSIDE THE SERIES. I HAVE MOST OF THE FFS.
EVERYBODY IS ALL INTO THE THESE 3-D ADVENTURE GAMES. I LIKE RETRO STYLE RPGS
THANKS
J

BALDUR'S GATE 2!!!
My all time favorite! I played Icewind Dale 2(also very good), NWN, Gothic, World of Warcraft and Diablo 2, but I'll never love any of them as I love BG2. The graphics are a bit ugly, but in my opinion it's the best!!!
I finished Throne of Bhaal with every character(and 3 times with the sorceror) and Shadows of Amn with mage, barbarian, sorceror and ranger. I recomend it to you from the bottom of my heart.I'd also say Gorky 17 is an excelent game( it's final fantasy style,I think)

Well, there are a number of excellent mods for Baldur's Gate 2, but I'm not certain if any of them are Paladin specific. If you want mods for a DnD, then you'll want to get NWN. A lot of people have made great content for that game.

I second Midnight and also Twillight, though I never finished the first one to begin the second. Also, as far as NWN modules go, I strongly recommend the HeX Coda as well, this is by far one of the most excellent modules I played.

While there are hardly games that feature a paladin character as their main, Gothic (2) and other DnD games (esp. ToEE, to a lesser extent the Infinty engine games BG, BG 2, IWD and IWD2) and to a lesserdo seem as good pick.
