Perfect Movie to turn into an RPG: BARBERSHOP

I'm always longing for a non-traditional setting for a CPRG. Here's the perfect one. Have you seen the movie? It's terrific.

You could create your character and choose the age, race (!), sex, and type of barber you want to be. You get experience points for successful haircuts. The more customers you get, the more your reputation rises. With enough experience points and levels, you may be able to get a sweet ride and a fly girlfriend. Additional quest points could be gained by telling the most outrageous stories (with bonus points any time you manage to piss off Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson).

The villain of the piece, of course, is the local loan shark who's trying to buy the barbershop and turn it into a scummy topless nightclub. The final boss battle consists of you having gathered enough evidence against him to get him nabbed by the police.

I'm only half joking. I'd play this game.

Hm...

Seems more like Sims to me but I would agree that in most RPGs there is little you can do to gain non-combat experience points. Maybe including some elements of professional activity would make sense... Although I cannot picture my poor barber character shaving a dwarf

I dunno dude, of all the personalities that I would like to emulate, that of an inner-city barber is about the last one that comes to mind.

LOL!

In your opinion, what is the weirdest profession that was ever presented in CRPGs? Put this barber aside
