Quick question: I played and beat G2 a few months back. i want to replay it as a mage this time. AFAIK, the only way to be let into the monastery is if you give Vatras 1000 bucks. (at least thats how I remember it) I know you can get more quests/money by signing up as an apprentice. If I sign up as an apprentice and become an "official" member of the city, is it too late to become a mage? |

No, you can still join the mages.. and you dont pay 1000 gold to vatras you pay t to the FIRE mages.. not the water mages.. whan i played as a mage i became an apprintis 2.. |

its better to become an apprentice every time you play... regardless of your guild, it helps you make money and learn certain skills early on

Actually you need 1100 gold.
You need to buy sheep too.
Then safely escort it to monastery.
When i coudn't do it. I killed my sheep. Cleaned the path bought another Betsy and walk it through.
BTW :
All female sheep are - Betsy
All male sheep are - Bruce

I found out i need to pay pedro at the monastry 1000 gp as a donation to the fire mages, but i also need to bring a sheep.. where can i buy a sheep ?

he's called Pepe or something.
he's at the merc camp. when you stand before onar's house, go right and go up.
you can also do a very easy quest for him. and in his tent, he has many skins (wolf, sheep and a shadowbeast skin)

look between the Mercenaries house and the road up to the bandits lair. you will see many sheeps and Pepe is standing somewere with the sheeps. |
