maybe this time those tardo developers will realize not everyone wants to use their gimpy control schema and give gamers the config freedom theyve come to expect since the original DOOM.

swear to god, i wrote them about it from G1, and in G2 it was just as gimpy (demo) so i didnt buy the thing.

If you work with it a little the controls work well. There have been some improvements though. Since the game is so good I'd play it even if I didn't like the controls. Everyone I've seen play gothic has gotten used to it...

Depends on what you're used to. For me the Gothic controls were absolutely no problem. Btw, have you ever tried using the options menu? You can change some of the controls over there. Others can be changed at the gothic.ini file.

I doubt Gothic 3 will be out by the time we English-speaking people are playing NOTR, but we definitely won't get it at the same time as the Germans.

I'm already getting more and more the feeling that this game will be huge.

I'm not so optimistic about Gothic 3, I think that they will dedicate too much of their time to graphics and rely only on that, but I sincerly hope that i'm wrong.
I want the game to look good and that it will have a great story and great main and also side quests.
