please help: potion shortcut keys don't work

Posted this in the troubleshooting section, but no response there yet. I could use some help!

I changed the setting in gothic.ini to usePotionKeys=1, then restarted the game, but still can't see the key commands in the controls menu. I would appreciate any info about what might cause this--maybe I'm supposed to look somewhere else?

I would appreciate any help!
