| chest in cave under walkway |
|
There is a chest in a cave where there were molerats. This is under a walkway after bengar's farm I think on the way to the tavern.
A merchant in the upper quater gave me a key for it I think after I gave him news in the valley of mines. He said there is a rune in it.
I cannot for some reason open the chest!
What rune it it ?? Is it important??
BTW I'm playing a mage
Also a woman with the free hotel in the city gave me a key after I gave her Lehmars ledger.
Where does this key open?? |

If I am not mistaken, its just an empty rune.
The key you get from the free hotel, is the key to the chest of the banditstreasure, located on an island close to the coast.

Just an empty rune?  It's the most valuable thing when you play as a mage.
Maybe you accidentally dropped or sold the key. Also be sure that you stand infront of the chest, not too far away and not on the side of it. |

The key will be giving to you after you done something for one of the merchants in the upper quarter (the rare items merchant, forgot his name). You get the 'quest' as a mage. |
