TF_timemod doesn't work for me

I tried this timemod to get a gameday equal to a real day, but it doesn't seem to work. Anybody using this one successfully?

I tried my own simple mod for this using the GAMEPLAY>GLOBAL>time scale and changing it from 30 to 1 or 10 etc... but it didn't work for me. I checked the TF_timemod I d/l and it changed the same thing. Hmmm???
