where the hell is the valley of mines!!
   

the paladin gave me the key to the entrance but i cant find the entrance! he said that i must find proof..but i cant even figure out where im supposed to explore the map? please may give me someone a direction..i know it is a funny question but im really in need of help.

at the bottom of the map of khorinis there is a white line (this is a road) leading into the mountain. it's near a farm. thats the path to the valley of mines

The Path to the Prison colony is by the tavern, if the taver is on your right side of you keep walking forward theirs a path there.
