How to get in the "please somebody help me" room? |
|
I'm in the crypt now and have gotten past the statue room and, just after killing the flying axe, I come to two rooms, one a locked door on the right and one with a portuculis on the left. I can see a woman kneeling before an altar of some kind and hear her saying "please somebody help me." But I cannot find a lever to open either the door on the right or the gate on the left. I have no keys for the door. Nor can I pick the lock. What am I missing? I already went farther down the corridor, killed the two zombies and got the quest for the ghost woman. Would appreciate any help. I looked at the map and it appears the lever to open the woman's room is actually inside the room itself and it doesn't look like there is a lever for the room across from her.

It has been a while, but if I recall the lever is in the hall itself but not near the door. Or may be behind and alter in one of the other rooms. I know one in the hall was very hard to see due to graphical design and placement. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

Finally found it! It's in the maze area where you have to shoot an arrow to hit a button that closes up the spike trap. Once you hit the button and walk over the now closed trap, you take a left and hit a dead end. There is a grave on the wall in front of you. You need to open it with the pick axe and inside there's a key that opens the door across from the woman (??) seeking help. Inside THAT room is a lever to open the woman's room. |

Actually, the room you are talking about is a tad further down the hallway. The lever is down the hall from the room, but not too far. It's not hard to spot, either, once you are close. |
