I just upgraded to an ATi Radeon 8500 128MB DDR...the rest of my system barely meets min requirements...and I do use FAR with no performance hit.

look to see if there is a BIOS update for your motherboard. You may find it can take a higher processor that way

Let me see if I get this straight. With your geforce3 or 4 or radeon 8500, you can set the view distance to max with no penalty hit, even in towns?
