From what i have seen from OBLIVION is that the graphics engine is so awsome that it will take all online games and throw them in the gutter. Oblivion will be standing next to DOOM 3. Asuming that they have some of the best graphics. Still Final Fantasy 12 will blow both of them away muahahahahahahah!!!!!! |

I am very much looking forward to playing FFXII, but claiming that a PS2 game will graphicaly blow away a cutting edge PC / XBox 360 game is a little silly. _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |

Because Xbox 360 supports 1280x720 & 16:9 with VGA-out so you can use either Monitor or HDTV, I'll be playing Oblivion on this machine!
Morrowind = 10 square miles
Oblivion = 16 square miles
That's right! Oblivion is 60% larger than Morrowind!
Best of all, this game will be out this winter for both PC & Xbox 360!

Does anyone know if Oblivion is going to be MMORPG?. I remember reading a couple of years ago they couldn't do it then since the story was base on a single hero that the plot revolve around one person. Online would be nearly impossible to pull off with a singular theme or hero with thousands of people playing. I was wondering if they change that particular aspect of the game for massive play. Forgive me if the question may seem moronic, but I only played the X-box versions. I'm not familiar with the PC versions so I would be happy if someone would enlighten me. I plan on getting the "360", however if anyone knows of any key features that differs between X-box and PC (other than graphics) version I would like to know what they are. _________________ I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. Love to play with and talk to people who have the same love for games. As mentioned before, I also love chess, pool, and old martial arts films. I also recently formed an interest in japanese anime. If anyone knows of any good ones I should see,e-mail me. I've already seen "Fist of the North Star" and "Ninja Scroll". |

Oblivion won't be an MMORPG. The game is focused on creating the ideal single-player experience. |

Oblivion is gonna be awesome, but really, why was FFXII brought up in comparison, The ElderScrolls is far better (even though i play both games often) graphically and replay value...i can't wait, YAY!!! _________________ Hehe, Dumbass!! |

best graphics, interaction and dialogue ever is something I already know of the game.
I hope it will be VERY lengthy, will have a great CS and modding community (I will definitely be part of it), and I can enjoy the combat and character development systems, as I hated those in MW. No mudcrabs or ridge racers, PLEASE, and lots of interesting reading material
The game looks the most promising of all at the moment, as we don't have any NWN screenies yet.
Wins out from my second favorite, Gothic III |

How do you know it will have the best dialogue ever? Show me. Show me screens or movies with good dialogue because the only dalogue we've seen so far is pretty ordinary. Or are you just hoping/assuming it will have good dialogue?
And limited NWN2 screens have been released. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

dude, 50 HOURS of spoken dialogue. They can be speaking Orcish for all I care, 50 hours!
Thanks for the info, just took a look
man, I hope they don't wait too long with that one.
I remember for about a year while I had a lot of gaming time on my hands, I played nothing but NWN, Morrowind and Gothic II... Looking forward to a lengthy period of NWNII, Oblivion and Gothic III... and then the Witcher.. heh heh. |

dude, I thought you were referrring to the quality of the dialogue (writing), not just that there's a lot of recorded speech. I couldn't care less if there was 1 hour of recorded speech or 10,000 hours - I'd rather know how good it is. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Patrick Stewart can say "Woozah Wuzzah" in 50 different ways if he wants to, I'll still love him for it. |

Im so sick of Patrick that damn badly is in every game now lol X-Men Legends for the PS2, Demon Stone (REALLY shitty game) and now this maybe its just me but i like not knowing what the person looks like that does the voices when you know what they look like its wierd cause when you hear the voice you're thinking of the real actor and not the npc. |

He's still one of the most inspiring voice actors I can think of
I wish the Oblivion crew had been able to cast some of the LoK lead actors though.
I'm thinking of Kain (Simon Templeman), Raziel, Moebius, EG. |

I'll just be playing that game on PC. That is, if it'll be possible. Does anyone know the hardware requirements for playing Oblivion?? 'Cause I ain't gonna buy a new PC just to play that game. Nor am I gonna buy an X-box. |

Not officially announced yet. However, an educated guess is that you will do fine (and with fine I mean more than ok) with a 3GhZ, 1GB machine that has a graphics card that can handle shader 2.0 and has at least 128MB of graphics memory. Fall short on one of these three things, and you will have a much harder time with eye candy.
Back when Morrowind came out, you, too, needed a very good PC to run it in all its glory (back then, Morrowind was visually exciting).
PS: Dual core CPU will help a lot. _________________ Rendelius
