| what about *Gorn* Leather bag? |

Hi!
Just finished the game as Paladin. Now, there is one strange thing: when still in chapter I I visited the Valley of Mines and during my wanderings there I found two "named" bags: Diego's one (close to the old starting point of Gothic I) and Gorn's one (in a house close just outside the Castle walls).
Diego's one was used in chap. V (or IV ?) when he meet him in Khorinis. but Gorn never asked back for his one... Not when I meet him at Onar's farm, nor on the boat.
Have I missed some quest? Or someone has found an use for Gorn's leather bag?

Thats used 4 getting gorn out of jail in the castle if you need more money. |

Here's the lowdown on how you get the "Gorn's leather bag" quest
If you *still* don't have the $1000 to get Gorn out of jail even after asking both Milten and Diego for help, talk to Milton again. He will tell you that maybe Gorn has hidden some money around the castle. He will tell you to ask the Paladin who guards the dungeon to slip Gorn a note. When you ask the Paladin, he will slip Gorn's note for you if you do him a favor (get some food I think). So then you wait a day, go back and get Gorn's response. In his response, Gorn tells you where to find his leather bag of gold.
This will only work if you truly do not have 1000 bucks after getting contributions both from Milton and Diego.

Wow, that's pretty nifty and well thought-of on the dev's part.
Unfortunately I can't think of any way that might actually happen to you. I've played the game using all 3 classes and there is no way you can have less than 1000 gold by the time you reach the castle - unless you go around buying everything in sight whether you use it or not... |

True enough, but it happened to me in my 2nd game which is the only way I would have found out about this quest!  I think I had just bought a whole bunch of healing potions and arrows ....
