Empires Online- Free 2d MMORPG

Hey all. Here is a small intro to the game Empires Online that we're making. Its a game basedloosely on the roots of Zelda but with RPG elements and a bunch of skills and quests thrown in.Skills range from the basic farming, fishing, and alchemy to the more advanced martial arts, archery, and
magic. As of now we have 3 classes and working on adding even more. Come on, join an empire, and fightfor your country!

Prologue

Long ago there once existed the prosperous kingdom of Alenshia. King Twarhurst, ruler of Alenshia, reigned during the longest period of peace known to the world. Many glorified the King as the greatest ruler to have ever lived. However, trouble began to rise after the birth of his twin sons, Princes Usic and Undrin. As they grew, they engaged in fierce rivalry, and regarded each other as their archenemy. Both lusted the throne, and both knew they had to get through the other for the position of supreme ruler. After their father died, both organized armies from different regions of the world and readied for the bloodiest Civil War the world had seen in ages. 150 years later, the war rages on today, even after Usic and Undrin's death.

The Osinic Exodus

Deep in the Southern Seas, secreted away from the known world, lies the continent of Osinic. Recently, a violent volcanic eruption has driven many of them to new lands, some settling in the known world. Coming with the waves of refugees are their technological advances, which both the Usic and Undrin empires want to gain an edge over the other.

The Fenrir Alliance

When the Civil War of Alenshia began, some remained true to the ideals of Twarhurt, refusing to fight for the power-hungry motives of the brothers. They stole away to the island of Telera, which became known to the warring factions as the Fenrir Neutral Territory. Over time, the Fenrir Alliance developed a very strong economy, and used its financial clout to influence the empires and keep itself from being invaded. Being able to enjoy years of prosperity due to this, Telera became known as a haven for those who wished to escape the troubles of war, and is becoming more and more a vacation isle.
