In answer to the topic we will be kept waiting too long!
and i have seen mentioned in various computer game magazines that the release date is SUMMER!
although I ahve also heard that the release date is around late Feb and early March.
But people remember the good side - if it takes longer then it should mean that there will be no bugs and so the wait will be worth while (although its worth while anyway). _________________ "The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. One would think with their current financial difficulties, that Jowood would want to get their games into the large English speaking market as quickly as possible. G2 could be their biggest seller of the year, so I'm sure they won't be delaying it any longer than necessary. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

That they would still be selling Gothic at a discount if they have financial probs. I can't find it anywhere but would pay $20.00 even with the new one coming out soon. |

Originally when I pre-oredered on Amazon.com, it said January 28th. It now says estimated release date "February 6th - 12th"
*insert gratuitous curse word here* !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have decided to go off and play NOLF2 and revisit Undying at some point. I can't play the demo version any longer as I don't want to get "too much" out of my system and ruin the actual game. I think I've gone through every inch of that demo. Even swam all the way into the water and gotten kicked back several times...................anyways, Feb. 6th-12th. That's the latest I have.

Well, at least we can still enjoy playing the demo to get a taste of the whole game. I've always been told that 'patience is a virtue'!! (Usually by people who don't have any!!) _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

JoWooD sent out a PR a few minutes ago.
The increase in share capital was successful enough to secure the survival of the company. Details about the restructuring will be announced in a press conference on Tuesday. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Some unofficial info i got from one of the developers:
Gothic 2, English version is not actually finished yet, still a little bit of work to do, mostly patches and fixes, not really any difference between the german and english version (apart form language ofcourse).
There should be some official news on the G2 website within the next few days. |

The english version is more needed in the world than any other...
I hope it will not contain bugs. _________________ - "The beauties sleeping, awaiting deep in a dream for true love's first kiss..."
