hey, Tom (first off, cool name ) not to majorly spoil anything, but will there be the ability to change the main character's backround or appearance? like make him a dude from the Barbarian tribes or something? and if i can humbly offer a suggestion, how about more options? i wasn't all that happy with being kicked out of the OC. i tried and tried reporting to Gomez, but the dworkus never responded to me. so i helped the NC and was exiled. that really pissed me off. i'm going through again, and when i get to lvl 25, i'm gonna make myself and Ore Baron. that cheat console was genious by the way. will that affect the game in any way?

TomTom asked me to inform you guys that he will be at the GDC in San Josè for ~a week, as he posted in his thread a few days ago.
Most likely he won´t be able to answer your questions while he is away. Internet access can be problematic when you travel to the other end of the world.

I have another question...which I'm not sure if you're allowed to answer...but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Rumours has it you're making another game too...is it true?
In case it is and you're allowed to say,is that also RPG'ish a'la Gothic, more HC RPG or some other type of game completely?
Again...if you can't say anything,I understand and won't hold it against you. |

Just wondering....will there be new weapon types in G2? Like pikes or spears? I also read this thread somewhere that ridable mounts like horses would be a could idea...
If you cant answer those questions, no prob.

Since TomTom is gone we don't want to overpost this thread.
Offhand, I'd GUESS no to the new weapon types and mounts. Weapons would be easier to implement into the current engine... as long as they follow the one hand two hand thing. But would you want to see a spear going through the same attack pattern as a zwiehander? It wouldn't make sense.
It comes down to how much the core engine has been upgraded or modified.

Just in case TomTom is back, I have another question: what videocards do you guys like? Or in other words, what chipset of most popular (GF, Radeon and Kyro) would let the game to show the best picture with decent framerate?

I hope that in Gothic 2 you will portray my husband, Mr. Mud in a better light. He is terribly misunderstood. You of course know about Mud Junior, he is such a little bundle of joy, and takes after his father (although some people are implying that he resembles Max Killen)
So in Gothic 2 will you shed some better light on my poor husband. He is a nice; but misunderstood little man

Yeah, people don't understand me. They are constantly trying to kill me when all I want is friendship. I'm always the butt of jokes around these forums with the joke about my fondness for wearing pink ladies underwear, and that animal sex thing (I don't know where that came from) and the latest one about Mud Junior not being mine is too much.
All I ask for is some respect in Gothic 2. Is that asking for too much?

They were probably just to validate the story. not all that area was meant to be in the sheild, and they would have needed real money (Not ore) |
