if i remember correctly i tryed to get past that shiny barrier somewhere in the middle of the game and over the swamps  i wasnt killed tho , it throwed me few meters back  |

Lol is this a thread about what the heroes name might be or what level you are to kill a bloodfly or your first death?  By the way I kill bloodflys at about lv2 it's not that hard.

Well we ran out of ideas what the hero's name is so we started talking about bloodflies. That's what happened I guess.

I think Sem has proved beyond doubt, by showing the similarity shots earlier in this thread, that Mike Hoge has based pc-hero on himself, an image of his own ego, so he will always have to remain "anonymous" (but we all know).
A similar situation occurred in the past with "Lord British" of Ultima fame, he was also "his own hero" but he admitted it!

I hope the hero stays nameless because Mike would be the worst name for the hero (no offense to Mike) but it's better in my opinion for him to remain anonymous.

I hope they will name him Sem 
In my game it's my hero, so I want it to have my name. No, I'm sure they will not make two games with a nameless hero and then suddenly give it a name.

It appears that the majority of opinions likes a anonymous hero. Have no fear! Apparently the hero is nameless officially.
However, behind the palisade, he may be given a name. It could be Mike or even Stan. |

Well, while playing with the NPC script files last night, gathering the german named ones I've found out that the PC_Hero.d file also have a name in it.
And it was "Ich", which can be translated as I or Me.

You probably didn't read the entire thread (don't blame you). Some others have already found that name, in the English version it's "Me", you also see that when you possess somebody and then look at yourself.

Rumors somewhere said that the hero will get a name in G3. Whether or not this news is true, I think that IF HE COMES HOME, then he will probably get a name. It may turn out that he was a prince and will claim his kingdom. He and his friends will fought against the about face Zardas and beliar monsters. |
