Does anyone know potions which increase attributes (if such ones are in the game)?

Where do I get all these gadget-things from?
I have found/bought only the electric rode, jack in the box and lava lamp.
where is all the other stuff?
(I haven't yet arrived in swamp or all the places eastwards of it)

Hello Kartman,

- if you mean permanent potions (potions that increase some skill permanently), I think there are not such potions in Wizardry 8

- you will find gadgets and parts for gadgets nearly everywhere, you can buy very small part of them. Nearly all gadgets consist of two parts, for example
  • Voltage Amplifier + Giant Magnet = Forcefield Generator
  • Empty Bottle + Gunpowder = Noisemaker
  • Shiny Chrome Plate + Magic Polish = Magic Polish
  • Chisel + Pendulum = Jackhammer

There is - I think - nearly 20 gadgets...

EDITED: here is very useful link about gadgets.

It would be nice if there were stat increase items!! The second time I play RPGs I like to waste a lot of time building up my characters to be uberpowerful.

Man...it took me so long to figure out how to post on this new forum style...it wouldn't accept my username for a while. But I guess with the new one you have too actually log in first.

"others"

does anyone know, what things classified as "other" like spider silk, crab shells and so on are good for?
You cannot merge them and they are not very profitable to sell..

Hold on to those "other" items! Some are later quest items and others are components in custom made items made by the two Rapax merchants!

Many of those things can be used by Antone Rapax, or his brother, in the creation of custom weapons and/or armors. Have you asked him about 'custom' yet? If not, ask him......just type in the word "custom" in the dialogue box. He'll describe some items he can create for you. All you have to do is find the components and give them to him.

Just remember to "give" them to Antone or Ferro. I don't believe you get credit for giving them if "sell" them. I could be wrong though

Shadow-

Your memory serves you well. They allow you to sell those things because you'll end up with extras, but to build a custom piece, you gotta "Give".

Good to know that I have staved off senility for yet another year.
