The Fall: Speech Skill Added

Noticed over at Duck and Cover that Silver Style's Carsten Strehse has decided to add a specific speech skill instead of just using the Charisma attribute:<blockquote><em>OK, just want to let you know that I decided that we will implement a speech skill on top of the charisma attribute. <br> <br>The most important reason for this decision is that it seems like you really want it this way. If you tell me you would have more fun with the game if you have a speech skill in it, this is the strongest argument. <br>Second reason is that it's easier to raise your ability in talking to people with a skill as with an attribute. <br> <br>So, thanks to everybody who pushed me to change the rules that way. You were right. I'm convinced of this idea.</em></blockquote>You can read the whole <a href="http://www.silver-style.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1430" target="_blank">thread</a> here.

I know it brings nothing new or important but I just have to say this - THANK YOU.
Silver Style, with this kind of approach to fans/customers, is great and unique. I will buy The Fall no matter what - these kind of people just deserve my support. Even if Fall won`t be the best game I ever played (but I must say I have great fealling about this game), it`s very big chance their next game will.

I agree also. But I hope they don't get to popular and incorporate, that usually equals stpid suits making horrible decisions. Why can't game corporations be competant.

I hope they stay small and keep up the good CR as a partnership or a LLC (or Germany's equation of one of those). On the company web page it doesn't specify, it justs lists partners and Mayor company (I think that might supposed to be major, or parent?)

I havent played SoA but I have Gorusal. It was alright with some unique ideas (like the sword leveling up).
