I found a statue of Innos in the cave near the Harpy Tavern ( carried by a black goblin ) and I took it to Edda , but she does not acknowledge it. Is this the wrong statue or do I need to do something else beforehand? |

Hrm... she should accept any old statue. Is that one labelled differently than just "Statue of Innos"?

Take that particular statue to Daron in the market of Khorinis. It is a way to join the monastery without sheep or gold.
Edda should take any other Innos statue to complete that quest.

Yeah, the valuable statue of innos. I did that once but apparently it doesn't work unless you ask Lares for help joining a faction first. |

It is labeled 'statue of Innos' . I wonder if I negated the quest by paying Carl beforehand. I would think she would still take it and I'd maybe get some EXP |

So you got a translation bug, in my game version it's something like "precious status of innos", I translate in english.
I think you cannot do the quest if you don't ask to Lares you want join the Fire Mage. And if you do so then you don't have other quests. But it's perhaps a tiny cheat you can do if you want join the mercenaries because in this case the Lares information doesn't trigger any quest and isn't very usefull. |
