I'm really early in the game at OC and trying to impress the local "bosses"
The question is: is there any limit on the amount of time it takes you to fulfill some of their quests?
E.G. The "bring my sword" quest from one of the Shadows.
Will he react negatively if I took his money (100 ores), than disappear for a couple of weeks (not a bad weapon to use early in the game)then show-up again and say that 100 is no longer sufficient and continue using his weapon for another forthnight, befor completing the quest??
The same goes with a 'missing guard' mission. For how long can I keep using the amulet, before they will (if ever) react negatively on it??

Nope. Most of the quests do not have time limit. However, since you haven't been able to complete these quests, you will not be able to become a member of the Shadows.
I had the "get the potion recipe" quest from Dexter before I joined the sect camp and that quest is still listed as "current quest" long after I have become templar in the sect camp.

Anonymous, you've turned-ou to be wrong.
It turned-out that at least the quest with bringing the sword back to one of the shadows is timed. If you don't bring the sword within two days (maybe even less) the guy gets nuts and attacks you. The quest goes into "failed" folder |
