Crash to desktop
   

I played the game for a few hours then all of a sudden I get crash to desktop all the time when i´m in the old camp, it doesn´t seem to happen elsewhere.

I have tried to change the sound setup and resolution as mentiond here in the forum when I searched for the problem , but nothing seems to work

I hope there is someone with a the solution for me, I really want to play this game after finishing G2 with addon

Welcome to our forum!

These crashes are hard to troubleshoot because they can be caused by just about everything. You should also post your problem on WorldofGothic and in the JoWooD forum (although they´re not responsible for the first Gothic), to improve your chances.

Did you try obvious things like using another savegame or reinstalling the game?

Also worth a try if all else fails, the old stand-by of installing the gothic player kit can sometimes be helpful. Although originally designed for playing mod's for gothic, it's unique method of unpacking the vdfs volumes is more tolerant of some faults, it can even show a 'pop-up' tag pointing the finger to most likely fault.

The 1.08k player kit is o.k for your 1.08j version of gothic.
