I agree, it would've been very interesting.

Were you here when Jaz made the fights between different people in Gothic(like Gomez VS Lee and so on)?

That was pretty interesting..

Honestly, I think the Sect Camp is the only Camp diplomatic enough to win a war like that, because they would stay neutral until most of the other soldiers were dead, and then try to convince them to join. You must remember that a war isn't over in a day, and the Sect Camp is the fastest growing camp(according to several NPC's in the game).

At the beginning of the game, the Sect Camp was very powerful indeed, but after the they discovered that the Sleeper was actually an evil arch demon, their warriors have loss their confidence and are lack of true paths. The Sect Camp was in the edge of breaking up, so they won't win at the end.

Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate?

On an open field the guards don't stand a chance against the mercenaries and templars. Most of them have crappy crude swords. If it was just an open battle the templars would win easily. Each of them have at least a light two-hander. There are some lower class mercenaries who only have small maces.

That is true: The templars are by far the best warriors, and not only that: they can heal their own wounds using magic.

Take away a Templars sword, and what do you have? A bald dude in a skirt.....Both Mercs and Guards have an edge in a battle with a Templar simply because they have ranged attacks. The Templar would probably be at about half health from the arrows by the time he drew his sword and prepared to attack.

If you look closely, a lot of the templars have crossbows.

Well I'll be damned. I guess your right. But 90% of the time they will just run up to you and try to throw down, face to face.

Templars are also more skilled than guards. They are trained in two handed weapons.

Just because they use two-handers don't make a flip, it's a matter of preference. Thorus and Gomez use two handers.

I'm talking about 2 handed fighting skill. All of them are at least trained and a few are masters.

Are Templers really stronger?

Are the Templars really that much more powerful than Guards and Mercenaries? In any case... the Sect camp may lose out to sheer numbers. You must remember that the OC and NC both have a camp and a mine... and the Sect camp is only the camp in the swamp. They have one or two people in other camps and that's all.

The OC suddenly has a whole lot more poeple nearer the end, when they take over the free mine... but I've no idea where they came from, but do you think they existed at the beginning of the game?

I think if there is to be a fight, we must assume imortality is turned off, otherwise there can be no clear winner. There are immortals in all three camps at the start... right?

I think the sect would win.

1. They're the only ones I've played as

2. They'd probably get the other camps stoned on swampweed, and kill them while they're incapacitated. A smart strategy if I do say so myself.

Is, "They're the only ones I've played as," your agument? And that is why Sect will win...or should win?

Yes, they'd probably try to get other camps stoned... but if you've noticed, there are more people stoned in the Sect camp than any other. Also, at the beginning, they all still believed that getting stoned is a good thing because it's the only way to see the sleeper, who's gonna be their savior.

So really... ARE the Sect camp clever?

They'd be the first to lose any war!

Look at my point:

Sect camp: Too kicked with the smoking weed and they believe
that they must win cause the Sleeper is on their side...but Templars
are strong though...

Old camp: Guards well armed but they do nothing else but beating
up diggers and gathering ore from them, Ore Barons just sleep and
eat... But if OC is attacked they would maybe won cause they have a castle...

New camp: Well armed and trained mercs supported by mages...
[ hmm but I dunno if the mages would like to fight.. ]
I think that they are well organized and they would won in a open fight...
hm..cant think of more arguments...
By thats just my opinion.
