overclocking

A couple of folks have mentioned overclocking their graphics cards. Is this something that's fairly easy to do? Can anyone point me to a primer, 'overclocking for dummies', so to speak? I've got a geforce3 ti200 (Visiontek) that I've just installed. Love what I've seen in general (still don't have The Game, still no word from Bethsoft, may cancel that order). Tried the 3dmark 2000 and got a 7357, is that pretty good?

Due to some of your suggestions on this board, I've added memory and now have 640mb ddr ram, running on Dell Dimension 4400, 1.6 gHz, WinXP.

After reading some of the remarks from those playing the game, I think I'd better try and eek out all the performance I can.

Thanks for your help thus far, I appreciate it.

It easy to overlock your card if it is GF3 200 (it is hard if you have GF2 Ultra, because it is already "overlocked".

You can use aditional properties in your graphic card setting or some tweaking program that supports overlocking (f. e. PowerStrip).

You can find many sites about overlocking, use search engine.

Everytime do small steps, especially if you will not add some more fans to your graphic card.
