Neocron "2" is a farce

I doubt anyone here has actually played this trash, but in case anyone is considering playing it - DONT

The game looks worse(if that's possible?) than neocron 1, the game is lucky if the biggest server has 200 people on it(it only has 4 servers, 2 german, 1 eng, 1 french), it's horribly buggy with bugs and exploits from the original beta in mid 2002 still happily existing.

The devs are a joke, they havent ever actually delivered on what they promised in a timely manner, patches are sporadic and infrequent, and new content never arrives.

(there have been 2 reviews of the game in the UK, one was 20something%, the other 50something, the game's community rep could only respond to the review with "Let's face it, no amount of finished content or fixed bugs is going to stop a reviewer who's had his arse kicked solid for two weeks from giving us a bad review score. No one ever said this game was for pussies. Look as hard as you like and you won't find an elf anywhere.
")

It's gotten so bad that the forum admins will close any thread that's negative(even if perfectly true) because it will scare away any potential new players.

Stay very, VERY far away from this heap of steaming dog ****.

Just some history:

Neocron launched in winter 2002, with a free expansion pack(dome of york) promised for 1st quarter 2003.
Slowly the expansion got pushed back, slowly we were told it was going to be bigger and better !

Eventually we come to early 2004, when we told the free expansion pack is going to become a "sequel".
We were told that we would have to buy a new game "purely for advertising reasons" in the hope that a new launch would attract people.

The launch was delayed, features cut, even more promised content and features delayed until "international release", which happened last week.
None of the promised features came.
