| BG TOB crashes when using stairway in Kiser Jhaeri's house! |

Anyone know why my game crashes every time I go down the stairs in Kisors house?
The second time your there, when you go to rescue the kidnapped kid, I go to use the stairs and the gmae blinks off and I have to do a CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart it.
Clues anyone? I have the latest patch(the one for SOA W/TOB) running WINXP, 512MB RAM, 1.3 GHZ Intel, 64meg SDRAM GeForce mx400 PCI Graphics card.
I played the entire SOA game without so much as a blink, no problems whatsoever, I do the first side quest in TOB and it starts crashing.
Anyone have the same crash?  |

Hmm... nope. Haven't heard of it. COuld be a corrupted area file...
Looks like the official forums are the place to ask. Technical support on BG2 and TOB isn't a field I excel in because they both ran perfectly for me. Sorry I couldn't help.

Sparhawk: Do you have the 3d acceleration checked in your options?. I found with both SoA & ToB that with the 3d acceleration on i didnt have the problems others have mentioned in other posts of jerkiness and so on but found that if i tried to goto a new area sometimes the game would just crash. If its checked uncheck it & your problem should be fixed.
If this isnt your problem then its hard to say outside suggesting like the prior post of maybe having a corrupted file.
