Enoil XP exploit/bug (spoiler, I guess)

I looked around and I don't think this was posted yet. If I'm wrong, sorry. However, when you show his diary to him, he doesn't take it. So you can block his path and give him the book an infinite number of times at 1250XP a pop. It's late in the game, hey, but you can make 10th level this way. The only problem is that you have to wait for him to stop talking before repeating. Still, no pickpocketing like in the other bugs, so good for non-thieves, like me. I'm in the dwarven mines and nothing's broken so far. Using Patch 1.17.

I found a bug that let's you pickpocket king pog and keep giving him the idol but it starts your game over from that point. (In other words don't do it I had to start my game over.)

Where did you get his diary? From someone else's note here, I see we are supposed to buy a drink for him yet, but if he ever asked me for a drink I don't remember it. I did enter the tavern and probably talked to him fairly early, but he hasn't spoken to me since then, if he ever did.

BTW, I'm assuming he's the fellow sitting at the table where the note about the search is on the wall. Is that right? Or is he the goblin downstairs. There's a man at the bar that never talks either. ???

the letter

he's the only one in the bar with one eye...remember the queen said one eye. Yes, that's the guy upstairs by the note on the wall. And you're conducting the murder investigation, so it would stand to reason that he doesn't talk to you, but when you talk to him, he drunkenly demands more beer from the bartendrix. She isn't listening. So go get him some by using some gold on her. He'll leave a key when he gets up to stumble. Get it. Open his house in Arx city (near the eating soldier room) and get the evidence. Go back. Confront him with it (show it to him). And for the exploit, keep showing it to him.

Oh, thank you. The lady just said that to me yesterday, but I didn't remember the fellow in the bar had only one eye. Thank you.

Thanks so much. I'm glad I didn't miss all that part of the story. Interesting. I hope we find out why Carlo thought the queen was trying to kill the king.

Is that it? The queen wanted revenge. I don't think she has it yet.

I did show Carlo's notes to the king and he was most upset. And I'll show them to Alia the next time I see her. Will this reunite father and daughter?

You'll see...

You really don't want me to spoil this one. Just make sure you have the meteor sword enchanted as soon as you get all the ingredients and you'll see.
