I got these for fulfilling a minor quest. The speed is great, but of course they make you BLIND!! Is there any way to UN-enchant an item? Take off the negative magic while keeping the positive magic? Or do I just have to sell these boots to some careless trader? |

Hmm, do you want a blackout screen for the blinding effect?
Speaking of the boots, there are a lot of similar "cursed" items in the game. |

One way to remove the negitive effect is to boost your magic resistance. I am an orc so I am 25% magic resistance by race. This makes it so things are not totally black, just really really dark. At least I assume this is the case, it could be that being blind is not really "total blindness", but in any event that is what happened for me. |

I killed the trader who had the boots (it was easier than doing the quest). The boots are very fast and I can see fine (although slightly dimmer than without the boots on). I must have a high magic resistance or something. |
