| Done NOTR, anyone want it? |

Not sure if this is appropriate - moderator please remove if so. I completed NOTR and loved the game! I bought it through the German e-tailer through the link on RPGdot - good service and reliable shipping but it was very expensive, about US$60 with shipping et al. Want others to enjoy without getting hosed, so go to ebay and search for Gothic II Gold Edition Night of the Raven and my copy should come up. No one outside of this group will likely be interested b/c you need to use the english mod so it should stay cheap. It is a great game, I like the difficulty and the realistic controls, it feels more like you're in the world - complete shame it isn't released in English. I've read about why and I understand the Jowood / Atari issues, but really it is unacceptable to make fans not only pay a ton for this game, but also to have to use a mod to use it.

Yes but the pb said that they will make the english notr or so and publish it before the relese of g3

You can post the direct link here. It´s cheaper and easier to buy from you than to import it from Germany.

On a similar note, I bought my copy of the original Gothic on ebay a while ago. It's a good location to get these rare copies - there's one available there most of the time. I think I got mine for around US$25 about half a year ago. Might be a useful source for folks on this board since they're not in stores anymore to my knowledge. |
