Yes, I'm sure you'll be able to play it, your system should really be sufficient - your weak point is the same as mine, the CPU; but my Athlon XP 2000+ is on the way , I will post about the effects.

Besides, the performance will hopefully be improved with the upcoming patches, as so many players are complaining...

I Have a Petium 3 1025 Mhz and 512 megs ddr ram and Geforce 4 Titaiumn 4200 and i run morrowind on 1280 by 960 with all other setting on and at max with quincux antialising and i run it slightly slow that only in large open areas it runs reaL fast in biulding so i think i can run gothic 2

Yep, though as I said I do not have any problems it seems that quite a few players with better equipped PCs have problems (lots of others don't)...

IMHO Gothic 2 stresses your system quite a bit which can reveal lots of existing hardware or configuration problems...

I have a athlon 700 THu. with 512 ram and a Xfx GF4 ti 4600 i just downloaded the gothic 2 demo german, and runs perfectly Even with all at max and 300 view, just like Gothic 1... hope it doesnt get too slow If i Met a dragon
