Dungeon Lords officially postponed to Q1 2005 |
|
Tara Reed from Dreamcatcher sent us this info about Dungeon Lords today:
I know you’ve been waiting for news on Dungeon Lords, so here’s a quick heads up DreamCatcher has decided to move the title to Q1 2005. We simply want to avoid the holiday rush and give D.W. Bradley and his team at Heuristic Park the extra time to polish the game up...

After the recent events you all guessed this would happen, and it is a good thing that DC gives mastermind Bradley more time to polish Dungeon Lords! |

Don't knock it. It's good to see the occasional publisher that will forego the Christmas holiday season to further poslish their game.
Most publishers just ship it.
So congrats to the DL publisher! _________________ The Poster Previously Known As NeptiOfPovar |

I think it's a wise business move. With so many high-profile PC games shipping before the end of the year--World of Warcraft, Everquest II, Vampire the Masquerade, Battle for Middle Earth, Prince of Persia, Half-Life 2--plus all the high-profile console games coming out or out already--Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, Metroid Prime Echoes, GTA San Andreas, Halo 2, Metal Gear Snake Eater, Star Wars KOTOR II, the Nintendo DS hardware--this game would just get lost in the shuffle. I have noticed a number of magazine articles recently pointing out that gamers don't have enough money to buy every high-profile game that comes out, never mind purchasing lesser known titles like Dungeon Lords. Polishing the game for four or five more months and shipping it next year can only help maximize sales potential. _________________ Apologize, v.i. To lay the foundation for a future offense.
