I finally got the addon working, but why is the game so damn hard? I'm like lvl 4 using epee with 1 handed weapon on 30% and I'm having hard time with wolves...
It seems like, totally impossible to get troughout the game without any cheats...
Is there any difficulty selecter for the addon?

addon needs more patience ... I used my first LP's to train strength to 20 and I use that strength belt found in xardas's tower and I buy fine short sword: damage 50 stregth required 25 (cost 750 gold ..it is quite much in start but if you sell some potions and plants and vatras's seeking wisp amulet - I didn't need it -...it's easy to get). .then LP's goes to one hand fighting to 30% then it wasn't so hard to beat up monsters...
Don't forget to use spell scrolls ....they now need only 5 mana per scroll ...almost every one ..except rechargeable ones...

A fine shortsword in chapter 1 ?
A strength belt in Xardas' tower ?
The addon has a lot more changes than i realized.
Either that or i missed a lot in the game  |

addon has lot of changes ....weapons need now more strength and do more damage like orc slayer 65/65 ..in addon it is 130/130..and what I was wandering... why crossbows now use strength ..not dex like in original G2...

Also, is it any good going into the addon world at lvl 6? I mean, I'll probably get my azz whooped?

don't know  I entered addon world in level 12 that was easy then ..I went to the valley of mines first, but I didn't get evidence so seekers won't come yet ..if playing militia or mercenary there you can get better armor and diego now come with you and you can travel with him in VoM if you avoid castle and paladin camps (scrapers) so with him it's easy to gain exp there, if you want more help first go to fajeth camp and get bilgot with you ..then go to diego and you have two assistants for wandering around and you gain exp with their killings too

It's true that xbow now need str, but they have done a mistake:xbow damage is always xbowdmg+DEX-enemy def.
The same is for DEX sword, in critical is sworddmg+STR-enemy def.But for use them you need DEX.
But all the other changes are OK(apart the increased LP needed for each ability after a certian level(namely 30)).
But you find these stone tablets that are very helpful.
It's totally different, but much more enjoiable.
and for the level...I'm on level 11 before join any guild.
Make sure you have done all the quest that you have and...buy A LOT of rain of fire! that things are my best friend now 
Let Lares guide you to Onar's and to the water mages.
And flee ONLY if you are in short of life,otherways kill everithing in sight! 
And keep in mind: it's more important to have a good sword ability,at least 30% instead of a lot of str, because you deal the full weapon damage only in critical. |

never train str, dex, mana and weapons to 30(or 60 or 90 or 120 )!!!
first train the ability until 29 and then you can train the 5 whatever for the old price(then youll have 34) and the same way with 60 etc. youll save 4lps everytime you do this.
this was hard to explain, but i hope you get the idea. |

Yes i've done that with the ch once.
i've trained normally to 29 then added 20.
49 with 1h and 30 with 2h.
And the price was only 20
however don't you think it's an error that you still have to train strenght for dex sword and dex for a "str required" xbow?
I hope they'll fix that in gothic 3. |

Can anyone tell me who sells a good 1H weapon which has str requirment 30 or 20. Oh also, I can't find anyone, who sells a sword, which has 50 dam and 20 str req.

O.o Hakon doesn't sell fine short sword... I'm in chapter 2 and the only thing near to fine short sword is wolf's tooth which has 45 dam and 22 str req. Also, who sells some str amulets in chapter 2?
