Gothic 2 Addon Frustrations!!!!

Ok, i have given up completely on an english verison of Gothic 2 Night of the Raven, So i decide to buy the german verison, and apply the translation,

My Problem is, Im completely clueless when comes to speaking or reading german, So all of the sites i have checked, I am unable to order from due to the lang. barrier, I tried "NewWorlds - Rollenspiel-Shop.de" which was posted in the above sticky, but all they have is an email for english users to get details. Well i emailed them almost a week ago, with no reply still! Im going crazy with boredom and i want the damn game. I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a site that i would be able to order it off of today, and get it shipped her.

Thanks for any help in advanced.

Strange, Rollenspiel used to be so helpful, but lately more and more seem to have trouble with them. Normally you would get a mail in a few days, but you're not the only one that never got a reply.

Hey Cloaked sorry to hear you seem to be having the same problems I did in ordering from Rollenspiel. I ended up having to email them 3 times, the last time from my roommates email account which they responded too. I don't know if it helped she's a girl. I would email them again from a different email address if I were you. Also once you get an email telling you how to order and you email them back don't expect any more replies from them other than a message from paypal saying they request payment. You'll not hear from them again even if you try. I got my game one week after paying for the game though. So if you can actually order the game you will get it it just seems you have to jump through a lot of hurdles to order it now which sucks, oh the things I do for my gaming fix.

Rollenspielshop has a managing director with the same name as Piranha Bytes´. It´s quite probable it´s the same person. Maybe they decided, for whatever reason, that selling NotR to customers in foreign territories is no longer a priority.

It´s probably a good idea to approach them via one of the IM services they´re present on.
Afaik there never was a problem after they had accepted an order.

It is?? No wonder, the shop is also linked on the Gothic homepage instead of Amazon or something like that.

The prices at the shop are normal. The weak dollar is working against you. Today´s exchange rate is 1 EUR = ~1.32 $.
Standard price for a game is 40-50 EUR and 20-30 EUR for an add-on, depending on the popularity of the franchise.
You should consider buying one of the compilations, the poster or the (weak) soundtrack CD, as suggested in the fixed thread. This could make the shipping more bearable.

Hi,

Here in Italy NOTR is going to be released on 15 April, this year. The game will have italian texts and manual but the audio will be in english, not german. I got word from Pierpaolo Greco at Multiplayer.it, the man who is in touch with Koch Media, and they confirmed it. So since the audio will be in english it's quite probable that it's a matter of some weeks before it will be available in UK.

I got my G2 1 year ago, in english, thus I didn't take the italian version, SO I am forced to wait until the english version of the expansion appears on amazon.co.uk.

Then it would be simpler to get the italian version and then simply change the subtitles. If it works, that is.
