This has me stumped. The game freezes every time I enter the old camp, but only when I enter the old camp. I can run around outside forever, but once I enter the camp, the game screeches to a halt and will go no further. When I first installed the game, it was fine, and one day it just started doing this. I did nothing to my computer between then and now to make it do this. I've tried changing the sound provider, and I've tried to change the resolution of Windows to the same resolution in the game. I'm currently running WindowsME and 256MB RAM.
Anyone have any ideas? |

This is maybe stupid, but what about reinstalling game. It looks like ruined file or something like that.
I never heard about such bug... (or about such problem with any hardware).

I'm not sure what you need to know other than RAM and graphics.
My Graphics card is SiS 730S. |

So SiS730S is motherboard with integrated 2d/3d accelerator
if you did not do that before, download latest drivers here
http://www.sis.com/support/driver/index.htm
I read readme and german Gothic official homepage, but there is nothing about problem similar to yours and also there is nothing about support/problems with this GPUs.

did u start a new game your save game may be corrupt I have same problem when i talk to guy in old camp after that everytime i go near him game crashes so I started new game and don't talk to him. |
