Hi to everybody, i 'm playng the first chapter of gothic 2 the night of the raven, i'm going to apply at the mage guild but before that i would like to improve a bit my combat skill and strenght in order to do it i trained my strenght with carl the dock smith and he trained me till 30 str at the cost of 1 learning point for 1 strng point but now he say i should pay 10 lp for getting 5 strenghtt....why?
I'm still no guild, except i'm the hunter apprentice,....why i cannot have the 1 to 1 exchange rate? There is a trainer who make my strenght up to 30 with a exchange rate of 1 lp for 1 strn point? and last question if i become novice at the monastery i get the malus for training strenght and one handed weapon?? pls answer me soon and tnx for every help u can give me.... |

Because the developers designed it that way. 1-30 cost 1 LP, 30-60 2 LP, etc. till 5 LP.

You mentioned above that Carl does this.

I donīt remember how this was handled in the add-on. If you still get a malus it will either come when you become a novice or when you pass the test of fire a bit later.
TNotR as a mage is the hardest combination in the whole Gothic series. You have no leeway for wasting LPs.

You will get the normal malus of double cost for strength, dexterity and fighting on top of the increased cost that comes with NotR.
