Personally i think red text is still o.k. It's just that compare to white text it looks little unusual or maybe uncomfortable.

There's far worst text's color, e.g green, cyan, dark blue; imaging the difficulty to read them with dark green background color.

You can continue writing it, it's your choice but I really do not like it. I'd like that everyone used the same color for their messages and only use the special colors for special formatting when it is needed.

I'm with Xanaki there. Colored text should be used sparsely.
The worst text color of all - at least on these forums - is black though as black text is basically unreadable in two of three forum templates.

No, your sig is okay. But it is the text that you use when you write a message that I think is annoying. The sig was perfectly fine for me.

As it looks now many people have problem with red text.
Maybe i change my signature back to include this:
If you can't buy it, Copy it

Many have problems with that to.

No problem with me. The sig is your personal thing and I think that you should be able to decide how it is suppose to look by yourself.

Maybe it's my monitor, but I do find your red text hard to read most of the time. I know it's you, so I'll read the post anyway. But it's mildly annoying.

How do I sugar-coat my answer? YES!. As if the red wasn't bad enough, you elect to use black? underneath it distracting from your post. Makes me wonder what you were thinking when you first saw your own post. Oh well, if that's your thing, so be it.

Well!

I normally want to read red texts, I really do, because they happen to be part of discussions and it wouldn't feel right to leave something out as far as I am concerned, but red text is just so distracting!
I can read normal, white text at full speed, scanning the words directly into my mind, but when I see red letters I stumble over the first 3-5 words and am suddenly reduced to about 30% of my normal reading speed, and since that's too tiresome I usually skip the entire post at that point. And I'm not color blind...

At night it's a bit easier to read, but during the day the letters tend to melt with the background. Black almost vanishes totally, it's as if there was nothing there at all.

I don't care so much about sigs, though, unless they are too large , because sigs are just some additional... something.
By the way, another user has also started writing all in red, which I find, of course, equally distracting . . .

Just my two cents.
