I have heard and read that FF11 will be a MMORPG. I find this a little hard to believe, since the other FF games have been pure RPG's and im not sure how they'd make it online. Has anyone else heard this? If this is something that would happen, im very excited about it, since, being a FF fan myself and a huge MMORPG fan, i would love to play this game. Any responces or any feedback would be great, thanks guys.

I think (though I may be wrong) that it has already been released, but only in Japan. Whether or not it will ever come to the US or Europe I do not know. |

Final Fantasy XI is a MMORPG. I believe it is currently released in Japan... I saw a demo movie for it once. It looked very nice.

Now that's one MMORPG even I'm looking forward to. I want to see it live, 3D and in color.

Final Fantasy online is the worst excuse for a mmorpg ever. I read a full preview of its game mechanics last fall and the game is nothing more than another pve treadmill. The territorial conquest it has is just a weak excuse to force players to kill more mobs. Othervice its just kill more mobs for level and get more eq. Its a piece of turd.
Imagine playing Final Fantasy game with fights only, no story at all and youll get the picture. |
