Question about Masquerade: Redemption

Hi there. I had a little look at the Redemption demo to see if I'd like it, and it looks good. The graphics are surprisingly good for it's age. But I didn't like how there's always four characters, I felt very crowded. Do you have to play with the hole group or can you play solo?

Thanks.

You have varying number of NPCs in your party during the game and it is set by the story.
Occasionaly you play missions solo 10%, 4 NPCs 25%, 3 NPCs 40% and 2 NPCs 25%, is the approximite breakdown.

Considering it was made in 2000 it is possibly the best looking RPG of the time. Very good story, not open ended, you only effect your Humanity with your dialogue choices.
AI is weak, 1.1 patch is mandatory making AI acceptable, thou it is best to turn off AutoCasting to keep them from using up massive amounts of blood.

Multiplayer is cool too, thou mostly dead now due to being on crapy WON.
There is new software like Hamachi that allows for playing without WON, VERY COOL stuff.

Certianly not perfect, one of my favorite games, since I like Vampires.

Killing innocents also dropped your humanity like a rock. It's a great little game and for the bargin bin prices you can find it at, it's worth it.
