What The Hell is this????????
I downloaded the patch in ENGLISH, but it switched all the speach to GERMAN\DEUSTCH! What to do?
I also noticed a lot of changes but very little improvement. Looks like I'll stick with my v. 1.13. BTW: Is there a bug that makes it impossible to complete the game in 1.13 or 1.1? If yes, what should I do to fix it? |

Yes. There are bugs that will stop you from being able to finish. In the list of patches there were several for different languages. Maybe you hit the wrong one by mistake. Try again. Thaxn! Which one? Maybe I'll try to play in German language when I reach it. But I'm sure it's the right one! Even the filename is "Arx_English_117" or something like that. |

This is over my head. Maybe Garrett has some ideas for you. I don't know why if you have the english version of the game and download the english version patch it would change to german. Hope someone else can help. This is first time I've seen that one ever.

But you still didn't answer my question.
Edit: I now have a clue about it. I think that's happening because of cfg.ini forcing. In original, it was "Deustch" in the language tab, and it worked in english. But when I downloaded the patch, it forces the cfg.ini to change to "English" which makes the game work in German... |

I just started a game with 1.17 and is in English. Maybe a fresh install helped? |

Yes, I'm sure it did. I played the whole game the first time and had no save game slots showing up. I deleted all files, reinstalled and all was well. There are a few bugs in this game out of the box. When in doubt reinstall.
