is down in the crypts, but how do you get down there?

No she is not. Check the rooms off to the left of the crypt entrance and find the book with the clues in it. If you are still searching, post and we can get you to the right place.

Whoa! This really pissed me off. Figured out the clues in the book, got down to where those priests were, followed them cautiously, Then I see them coming back my way with one of those demons like you see in the temple quest. So I got out of sight until they passed (fighting 'em all plus the demon was not a good idea) Then I find this dead piest further up (what's up with that?) Got into the room and found her dead! sacrificed. Man, now I see why they did'nt put kids into morrowind. That really bothered me, that I could not save her. Now I really feel a vengeance for those buffoons.
PS- How come there are no fat people in Arx?

This quest is all timing of the kill. Get close and pick off one or two slackers, then get to the now open door as soon as you hear her call for help. If you get to her fast, you can save her, kill the rest and earn some good xp's. The demon comes if she is dead. If you have a save game to jump back to I would try it. xp's are hard to get in this game.
