Blizzard Fan Sites Chat about World of Warcraft |
|
Blizzard invited all members of the Fan Sites Program to a secret channel in Battle.net US East on February 5th at 5pm PST.
Katricia, George Wang, Gil Shif, Lisa Bucek, the Dev Team and Mike Morhaime, president of Blizzard assisted.
There they answered many questions and revealed stuff that impressed some fans. Katricia said that the Dark Portal was never destroyed, only the connection with other worlds was severed. She hinted that there may be a quest to search for the Spellbook of Medivh for a spell that will allow a group of High Level Warlocks perform a Ritual that can open the gate of the Dark Portal.
Of course, fans fell off their seats after hearing this. The last time we heard of the book of Medivh, The Kel'Thuzad had the book to allow Archimonde to come back to life in Lordaeron after raiding Dalaran.
Do Warlocks have to fight Kel'Thuzad to get the spellbook back? Is the question on our heads. More intriguing. . . where will the Dark Portal gateway lead us to once it is open?
Outland(Draenor)?
Or something darker?
All Katricia told us is that Blizzard has created a storyline that will entertain fans for at least few years as the mystery unveils during our Role Playing and that a drastic event will change the World of Warcraft as we know it.
I can only think of an invasion, but will it be the Lich King and his Undead or will it be something more evil? Will the Elder gods be able to be released with Warlock enchantments? The Titans that created the magic of Kalimdor and Azeroth imprisoned the Elder gods that were rampant in the world creating chaos. Will that prison open up to unleash them once more into the world?
Ahhh, this game has a lot of surprises and potential as a MMORPG and rich with lore and history.

To quote XMEN Beast:

O_o
That is the nicest welcome I have ever had on a forum.
Usually I get an insult for spamming, the post deleted or get banned.
My sincere gratitude and admiration.
^_^
World of Warcraft is a MMORPG and just considered that this community would like more news about that game. We are a Blizzard Fan Site Program member dedicated to find news of all their games in any site or magazine to inform the fans. We are fans ourselves even if I am an old man age 31 with no life lol.
Oh well, thanks again. Let me know if Rpgdot is open to exchanging links or syndicating RSS News. |

That wasn't spaming! You'll find that everyone here at the RPGDot community is mature, kind and would never insult you!
31 years old with no life? Bahh! If you're a hardcore gamer, I'd say you have more of a life than most people!
I don't have the authority to discuss banner swapping or exchanging links. You could post your inquiry on the RPGDot forum. _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.
