A lot of people are saying: "I heard Gothic II is coming out" and "I can't wait for Gothic II." Well, I've been searching the PB homepage and I can't find out anything about any plans for Gothic II.
Does anyone know for sure that there is going to be a Gothic II
Rice schnapps for everyone if it's true.

The problem is this, Mud is the person who wrote this game. Every time you kill Mud it sends a negative vote back to PB in the form of a cookie.
Everytime you sleep with Mud and share his Pink Teddy it sends a positive vote.
So if you want Gothic2, every night you must go back to the old camp and sleep with Mud. |

no official word on a sequel but with an ending like Gothics everyone really assumes (and hopes) that there will be a sequel |

I think this of the situation:
Oftentimes, in movies (go with me here..), producers/writers will leave them open ended. This way, if the flick performs well at the box office, the writers will have a place to pick up the story when they write the sequel. However, sometimes (perhaps even more often than not) the shows fail to meet the hopes of the producers, and the sequel never happens.
I see that the devs of the game left it rather open at the end, and I just hope that the sales will be sufficient to warrant a sequel..

This is what I got from that other site linked on PB's site. http://gothic.gomp.net/
Sequel officially!
Thus I Torsten asked and he consented may I you thus there finally official announcing that the Sequel in the advance is... for it would be then probably the beta test (although it can be surely also still for other things) makes happy you the legs away:o) we gotten hopefully soon a few screens of it. But if at all probably at the earliest in 5 weeks.
Its roughly translated from german using altavista's babble fish,(very roughly I hope "makes happy you the legs away:o)") but from what I got out of it, it's being planned officially. |

I really hope that you are not so stupid, you missed the part where I stated it was from another site, which being German needed translating.
Though, if you were just stating that you also found the German to English translation rough, then I agree with you, and you can disregard my first part. Just that it sounded to me you were making a remark directly at my post, not reading what it was about.

I got the same translation using different software. The german to english translation was the same as in your post. The english translation is very confusing. Thank you for the post
