While desperate for experience points in Chapter 1. I went through as many of the monsters I was able to kill (minus undead and minecrawler warriors) before finally preying on human NPCs. Some of my exploits included beating up every mercenary except for Lee (and that other dissident merc leader), roughing up the folks at the dock (including Lares), killing all unnamed town guards, killing all the nameless paladins in the upper quarter and the docks, knocking out all the monastry personnel who weren't already invulnerable and finally harassing as many farmers as I could.
Unfortunately, I seem to have gone too far as the shopkeeper NPCs will no longer sell any of their wares to me despite the fact that I have paid the fine. This is particuarly troublesome in the monastry where the summoner specialist had a blanked inventory just after I joined the fire mages. Oblivion doesn't seem to work either.
I suppose my question is, is there a cheat to enable the NPC shopkeepers to replenish their stock and sell their items to me once again?
Thanks. |

Hey there Boeman,
The game was not really meant to be played like this, you have "abused" the "critical" storyline, i would suggest starting a fresh game and try being humanistic with your reasoning. _________________ Forever aches my wretched soul, for Chromanin locked in that dark hole, though crypted key i've yet to learn, he knows one day i will return. |

Ok, you can do some pretty illegal things in G2, but you can go too far. I think you've got driven by the possibilities to get xp too much. You can't beat up everyone, especially not traders. Nameless npc's yes, traders/merchants/dealers no. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Upon beating up a merchant his inventory dissapears compleatley, therefore you can't buy anything off them because they have nothing to sell, however there inventory is re-stocked when you advance to the next chapter. _________________ R.I.P "Dimebag" Darrell Lance Abbott

the problem probably is why the oblivious spell dosent work is that u allready stepped to another chapter while u beaten rthem up in the previous chapter then the spell dosent work actually anymore. I think u need to load somekind of old save or start fresh and play that way how u would play it in real life if the character would be really you |

Fortunately Graham was correct, all the merchant inventories were restocked upon entering Chapter 2
The only person still blanked out is the summoning specialist in the monastry (I'm in the second circle). Hopefully this will be rectified in chapter 3.
BTW, I do play the game as if I actually was the character - a homocidal maniac.
Hmm...looks like lester is one of only a few NPCs left whom I haven't already roughed up, this certainly cannot continue..... |

I've got a separate question this time. Rather than start a new topic I'd thought I'd post a reply here again since it coincides with chapter 2.
I've been mauling a lot of the creatures such as bloodflys and lurkers along with dozens of orcs/lizardmen. I just noticed that chapter 3 begins just after I leave the Valley of Mines. Knowing that there are some respawns that occur from chapter to chapter, if I were to butcher all orcs and lizardmen, will their forces be replenished in chapter 4?
Also, I seem to be able to wear only one ring at a time. Is this a bug? If so, any fixes (restoring to last save isn't an option as I'd have to start over)? |

Too bad Lester is invulnerable..
As for the other stuff, then serves you right Maniac or no maniac, paying simple fee should not clear your records. Sadly the in-game people dont jail you or death sentence you or kill on sight, so, at least that will be as a minor punishment to the maniacs like you Hopefully even more merchants and trainers and all will behave the same, and your char can move to live with the orcs, where he belongs |

Partly yes. When you don't kill them new orcs are add. So it doesn't really mather if you kill them in chapter 2 or not. If you don't there will just be a lot more orcs in the same area. So if you can I suggest clean things a bit in chapter 2, so you're less likely to lure 5 Orc Warriors and 3 Elites at once.
Only one ring?? That's a bug, but I thought it was fixed. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

The Ring Bug is fixable just take off the ring[s] and your armor and then equipt those two rings u want to equipt and then put the armor back on |

I say so too, unless you play as a mage. I leave all the orcs there until chapter 5. I go back there with wave of ice spell and chop them up one by one. I wish I didn't kill all of them so that I have something to test my new spell with like wave of death. Now without anything left to kill, I have to test my new spell at the city. _________________ Arguing over the internet is like competing in special olympics. I tested the spell for the very first time in the library of the monastery. "Maybe I can kill both Karras and Hyglas"
I accidentally killed 75% of all the novices and magicians. When I knew that, I teleported to the city to kill the ship guardsa in the upper quarter (too bad Lord Hagen is immortal ). _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."
