I don't really mean which is the best, but which do you have the fondest memories of? Mine is the Super Nintendo. I'm a sucker for Old School RPG's, although to some of you 16-Bit isn't exactly Old School. Anyways my favorite RPG's are on this console.

Hmm, the only one I have ever 'owned' is my old school Atari.

The one I don't own yet....

So far, we have N64, Sega Genesis, Playstation and XBox. I've borrowed a PS2 so I could play FFX (it ROCKED), and I'm pretty sure I'll buy one some day....but for now...my fave console is my pc.

Yeah. I'm older now I had the 2600. Did any of you have that contraption that loaded into the Atari 2600 slot and you played cassette tapes into it. You could buy the tapes for cheaper than carts and each was a different game. I had some l33t rpg back then on that tape. I sure wish I still had all that crap

Yeah, I had some sweet RPG tapes for my Atari 800. I remember some museum got possessed or something in one of them and you had to go to various exhibitions to get weapons or armor from the displays. I never got very far because A: it was hard, and B: I was pretty young still. Fond memories nonetheless.

You also forgot Dreamcast on the list.

Fave console: Genesis. But my fave console game ever was Panzer Dragoon Saga, a truly revolutionary action RPG for the Sega Saturn. Hands down one of the finest games of all time.

Ps2 rocks hard lol.....because it has most games and the best grafic and it has the best games (final fantasy X, Twisted Metal, GTA3 and so on.)....X-box sucks because it has NO good games and because all the good games is allredy on PC. (Morrowind, Max Payne and so on.)

X-BOX is bad for you!!!!!!

PS, I am a PS2 fan........

Oohh, I remember doing my year in the army and playing Zelda on my Gameboy while sitting on the bus on my way home every second weekend. Those were the days. I still have that ugly little machine somewhere. I bet that the Zelda cassette thingy is still plugged in since that was the only game I ever bought!

i have never liked console rpgs. i think the pc is a much better platform for rpg games. however, i love the PS2 for its fighting and action games. tekken anyone? also, i am really enjoying ICO & skygunner (its brand new & a blast). other than that the pc seems like it just feels more natural to me. 1st person and rpg just work better on a pc.
