Just killed "Osh Pak" (SP?) - did I do right?

Hi!

After having climbed the door at the pass (I am still in chapter one) I am now in the Valley of Mines to gather XP, sweeping around the castle perimeter to kill Orcs.

Now, close to the place the guard Pablo used to be in Gothic I I killed a group of Orcs (two Warriors and two Shamans). One Shaman had a name, "Osh-Pak" or something like that.

Having a name, I assumed it was related to some quest. So I searched the forums and found some messages related to the fact he is connected with the other Orc (the friendly one), but I haven't understood the connection.

What should I do? Avoid him? I have a saved game just before the event so I can easily trace back.

Thanks,

Saruman

P.S. Does anyone knows what to do with the sheep located in the old arena, close to the castle in the Valley of Mines ?

The quest you get is to kill him, so it does'nt matter if you do it now or wait til you get the quest, or you can refuse to kill him and let that play out.

I did'nt like the way this whole thing was designed.

Okay... Then it is not an issue.

BTW the name Uriziel rings a bell ... A fan of Philip Jose' Farmer, I suppose ?

Thanks,

Saruman

It doesn't matter how you do this, get the quest from Oric and kill hosh-pak, talk to ur-shak and he will get mad, kill him too for +300 exp.

Nobody tells me I have a soft voice....and I dont respond well to idle threats from orcs either!!

Now if ur-shak shows up in an add-on or in Gothic 3 it will ruin it for me?

hehe, damnit why wont you die?!?!

In the conversation with Oric you 've got the choice to accept the quest or say it's beneath you to do such low life thing. The only thing I don't know is how Ur-Shak reacts now. (I killed Hosh-Pak too, because of a quest of a dragonhunter -> lost his sword)

Uriziel is also the name of a character in Philip Jose' Farmer books (sci-fi).

no he was saved in the ancient orc temple (where the fire dragon now resides) from about 5 or 6 really mean orcs, we cured the orc in the freemine cause he got bitten by a minecrawler, REMEMBER NOW?

Had anyone not killed Osh Pak and talked with Ur Shak?
What happens then?
