Treasure

Hi, I am new to the boards. I have been reading up on Morrowind more and more as the release date grows near. I have some questions concerning treasure. Is the treasure randomized? Is there rare items? Or is the loot placed in specific spots. I know that with the editor, anything is possible. But I am speaking of the game itself.

I think that it is predetermined. But, the 10 skills you pick as your Major/Minor will effect what items you start with. Also, I have heard that only in certain guilds (Telvanni) will you be able to learn certain spells.

Every item in the game is hand placed. There are many unique items and weapons. Luckily there is enough content in the game world you will not be thinking about how many different items you can find. Morrowind isn't built to be an item quest like DiabloX, however the nice thing is that you can make it that kind of game if you want. Also in this game your 'stash' can be anywhere u want. I have not played this game yet, so this is strong educated guestimations. I'm probably going to have a cave , and then I'm going to kill someone and take their house, and sleep on the front steps everynight...since the house will be filled with as much crap as I can find...I'm going to collect wine and cheese, not to mention womens apparel...hahaha...I like bethesda.

If only this game were multiplayer, I'd slay whichever fool I found laying around on the steps for sure!

Bah, they'll be enough single player gaming to not even consider multiplayer.

I'll do what a lot of you may do, though. Kill someone for their home and use it as if I've been living there for a long time. Oh what fun a delinquint can have when given so much freedom!

I wonder if you can kill a king/queen and take their castle, the thought of owning Castle Vvardenfel is far to tempting to pass up

i think whiping out a temple or an outpost would be neat.
or maybe some high up cliff cave or maybe a small town.
kill everyone in it and use it as your own land.sleeping in some guys kitchen one night and some old woman tub the next.
i also think that will more than likely try to live in a boat.
