someone said it's possible to make Thorben more friendly (in order to learn picking locks)

Ok thats an apprentice mission to get mattao to vouch for you...
If you talk to matteo, he will tell you he needs some moeny of Gilda (if thats her name im not sure if it is somthing differant on the english verson, Gritta?) Anyway, take his mission, speak to thorban about it... then he will tell you where she is (in the house around the corner) THEN speak to her, tell her you'll have to sell her stuff if she cant pay... talk to Thorben again, he will want his 100 back, give it to him....then go to Mattao and tell him u got his gold... and there were no problems.... boom, mattao will vouch for you, and thorben will teach you picklock level 1

Actually in my Polish version Thorben was much more greedy - he wanted another 100/200 - anyway exactly the sum I took from Gritta - and just when I gave to him he was willing to teach me and further was selling lockpicks.
Probably there may be another way. Steal from Lehmar, the money dealer in docks, his book of debtors (You can always beat him up and take it - he won`t be offended for the future loans) and give it to Thorben. Don`t sure if it only brings you his vote or gives you ability to learn pickpocketing. May someone correct me here please?
And one more thing - if you do the second way You may miss better chance with one of two other debtors in book - will say nothing more about it. |
