The list is very obscure. If you have a cold and take some nose drops to help you over it, you are on dope. Eventhough it won't make you go any faster.
There are people with a natural amount of whaterver they are looking for, that already puts them close to the limit.
The list is poluted with all kinds of stuff, you and I use, like the simple vitamines.
AND then there are of course the real dope related issues.
Lance did a phenomenal task. Ok, Indurain won the Giro and the Tour, but he could only do the time stages well, he wasn't very special in the mountains, and almost never won a stage that was not related to beating the clock.
Lance is a new breed of sportsmen, who focus on one tournament only. He doesn't care about anything else, but the Tour de France. That is his choice. He is entitled to do so and is under no obligation to win anything else. It is his life.
I doubt there is anyone who did not use something, even if it is a bit too much vitamines or whatever relatively innocent. Compared to someone as Virenque, Lance strikes me as fairly innocent in that area.

OK and now for true:
Lance has won the WC cycling before he got cancer. He was considered a greate talent and predisted a big future. It isn't a total lie I've posted before, but he still gets my respect. I think he probadly uses dope, but Ullrich also takes stuff against Astma. This medicine he takes camouflages the use of EPO. The funny thing about EPO is that you start weak and you become better later on. (like Der Jan was in the Tour)
Conclusion: at the top they all use some kind of dope. Some of it can't be traced yet and some of it isn't on the list yet, but the fact remains.
