ohh I heard Jowood delayed the upcoming game till the middle of 2006, and that in the game you could chose that your Char will require food and drink to survive , and also carry a certain weight depending on strengh, but that you could also chose to go with the way gothic has been so far, without those limition, also as for combat, left click to attack and right click to block, I think that will suck I loved the combat system for one and two I hope they'll stick with it in 3.
another thing I read in the Hebrew review at Gamer.co.il, is that animals most likely won't attacks us unless we attack them, because they rather eat prey meat, not human. sounds wierd since most animals can gut a player in gothic in the earlier stages but ok. if anyone can confirm all of this it would be apperciated

It does look quite nice, but the way the character walks is ridiculous, at least...from what i've seen in that movie , but i'm sure PB will change that.

Anyway.....that damn Rapidshare has a limit on downloading...can i find these GIGA movies somewhere else? I dont want to be missing some good stuff.

I'd really like to see some realism, like eating to stay alive

LOL, worldofgothic is reporting that Amazon.de is ready for shipping our beloved Gothic III. I think that's complete bullshit. IMHO G3 will soonest be relased in March.

Itīs obviously nonsense. I guess Amazon contacted the customers who have preordered G3 to make sure they donīt cancel it. The German forum found this out quickly, but it didnīt filter through into the English news.

heh, I figured there's no way it coulda been true. If it was closer to release we'd have gotten a looooooot more info then we do aswell as more gameplay trailers I'd assume or a demo.

Is it? They can be lot further in the development then we now. Maybe they want to create a big boom and release of lot of info all at once. Who can tell. The Gothic 3 site still has Q1 as releasedate.

Nope, it's changed to just "2006" now.

New G3 preview: http://www.actiontrip.com/previews/gothic3.phtml

I also posted it in my merry christmas thread as a treat for the holidays.

Kai says that 'Oblivion is their main competitor' and so as the Oblivion storm is about to break loose, i personally think it it wise strategy (whatever else is said) to wait until the calm after the storm and only then give appropriate release date info regarding what will be the king of all the exclusive classic single-player RPG content games.....Gothic 3.
